Hello and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Marcus Pihlaja and I am 29 years old. I have recently finished the Web editor programme on distance through Univeristy of Borås. Through my education I have achieved a Bachelor of Science with a major in Information Architecture and specialization in Frontend web development.

Web development and -design
I develop and design websites that are responsive, interactive, user-friendly and accessible with the user in focus. This is done so that you or your company should be able to reach set goals. I have competence in the following languages and frameworks:

Graphic design
For your website to stand out, attract visitors or make them stay, the graphical impression of the website is of utmost importance. Therefore, I can help you create graphic design that is both appealing and user-centered for your visitors. For example, I create logos, GIFs, animations, advertising items, moodboards and graphic profiles. To do this I use tools such as Canva, Figma and Adobe Creative suite to ensure that the design is both professional and effective.
UX/UI-design
I can help you or your company to create websites that are user-friendly, user-centered, accessible and tailored to the target audience. To begin with, I create a persona that is based on data about the target audience to ensure that the website is tailored to the target audience. Then I sketch, create wireframes, prototypes and conduct user tests. When prototyping I use tools such as Figma. I can also help to choose the right colors for best contrast and accessibility according to WCAG.
